The Kings Head Inn set back off the village green is what everyone would imagine a timeless English Inn to look like.  A well stocked bar, well kept real ales and a cellar full of wine. We serve Hook Norton Best and Wadworths 6X all year around with 2 varying guest ales We have a wine list with over 40 wines ranging from our 10 house wines up to the classic French selection.The Good Pub Guide 2001 has just awarded us 'Dining Pub of the Year'. Everything is prepared in- house. Meat is bought from a renowned local butcher and we guarantee that none is imported. In winter, game is always on the menu. Fish comes fresh from Cornwall daily. The vegetables are all homegrown in the nearby Evesham Vale. There are always excellent vegetarian dishes on the menu. On the cheeseboard, there is a serious selection of local and foreign cheeses

The Tite Inn has been a freehouse for over 200 years and offers a selection of delicious cask ales (earning us a regular spot in the CAMRA Good Pub Guide), fine wines by the glass or bottle and extensive lunchtime and evening menus which can be enjoyed in the bar, restaurant or in our stunning garden.With our two new chefs we are now able to offer excellent lunch and evening services, with several delicious Tite favourites now in high demand including our superb Sunday Roasts (available until 4pm) and our Thursday night homemade fish & chips. The sixteenth century thatched Falkland Arms is set in the heart of the rural Oxfordshire village of Great Tew. The bar has old oak beams and settles, a flagstone floor and an inglenook fireplace. An incredible collection of mugs and jugs hangs from the ceiling of the bar, where eight hand pumps dispense an extensive range of real ales and a traditional cider. There are also 16 different country wines, 60 malt whiskies, snuff and clay pipes on sale. Lunches are served everyday from noon until 2pm. Evening meals every night (exc Sundays) from 7pm until 8pm. Booking is essential.

From the Banbury Guardian The Falkland Arms was voted the Best Cask Ale Pub in the country in the Morning Advertiser Best Pub Awards at the Hilton Hotel, London, on February 3, 2005. Licensee Sarah-Jane Courage, who runs the pub with her chef husband Paul, was pleased to have won the award. They won the regional title in 2004 so have now gone one better. The pub, which Sarah will have run for five years in March, always has at least 14 different ales on tap, The pub is a real fashioned treat there is no jukebox, pool table, no TVs or big-screen sports and mobile phones are banned. Instead they have a roaring log fire, regular live music and quality pub food.

The Fox Inn at Lower Oddington is in a quintessential Cotswold village, three miles from Stow on the Wold in Gloucestershire. The Cotswold stone, Virginia creeper clad building dates back to the 11th Century and boasts flagstone floors, beams, open fireplaces and abounds with fresh flowers. The Fox is essentially a Pub, which enjoys a reputation for good food, wine and beer. It was voted Gloucestershire's Dining Pub of the year 1999 and is listed in the AA Guide to Best Pubs & Inns, Which Guide to Country Pubs, The Good Pub Guide and the Good Food Guide. It has an awning covered terrace for eating outside with heating and a pretty traditional cottage garden. From The Banbury Guardian The Mason's Arms came runner-up for the Morning Advertiser Food Pub of the Year title at the same event.Chef Bill Leadbeater, who runs the pub with his wife Charmaine, said he was initially disappointed not to win but was pleased to have got as far as they did. Mr Leadbeater said: "It's marvellous. We have only been here 18 months, and to turn a run-down and empty pub into a regional winner and runner-up in a national final is more than we would have dreamed of."The pub won the regional award for London and the Home Counties before Christmas and thas now received a sign to erect outside to mark its award. Bill added he would be keeping on his toes for next year's awards. "We would like to try to get nominated again, perhaps in a different category," he said. "We have some changes coming up, including a new extension to the pub."

THE CROWN INN restaurant, a 17th Century Inn, is AA approved, listed in The Good Pub Guide and is situated in the village of Church Enstone. The Crown is a free house owned and operated by Tony and Caroline Warburton, Tony and Caroline being pleasant, friendly people themselves, make good employers and have no trouble attracting and keeping friendly and efficient staff. Tony an award winning Chef with many years experience prepares and cooks all the food on the premises with the aid of his kitchen staff. Menus for lunch and dinner change daily, and fresh local produce is used, with fish and seafood a specialty. Meat and game come from local farms, fruit, vegetables and eggs all sourced locally. Dexter beef comes from Glebe Farm, Spelsbury a high welfare local farm. Rare breed pork comes from Southcombe Farm. Caroline runs front of house making everybody welcome whether your there for a special occasions such as an anniversary or just one of the local characters that frequent the bar. Behind the bar you find traditional cask Ales brewed locally by Hook Norton Brewery, two other guest Ales varied regularly , Blenheim mineral water, and fine wines which are excellent value for money.
