Over the last 200 years the Inn has been known
in the local community as a place to eat and drink in style and comfort.
In the last year the new proprietors have worked to, and achieved,
further excellence through the refurbishment of the Barracuda Brasserie, the
Bar, the Herb Courtyard and the high standard of accommodation offered.
The design of the Barracuda Brasserie is in keeping with the
excellence of food offered. The Brasserie is decorated in soft blues and
relaxing shades; with leather sofas for pre or after dinner drinks.
The Bar offers a more relaxed atmosphere, serving traditional ales
and wines that cater to the most discerning of tastes. Served at the Bar is
also a selection of cocktails and sparkling wines. The bar menu provides
light lunches or simple snacks and is available all day.
The Herb Courtyard, so called due to the herbs growing around the
edge, is a light and airy room where both the bar and restaurant meals can
be enjoyed. The restaurant and the courtyard are both non-smoking
environments. Children are welcome, and all requirements such as high chairs
and a children's menu are available upon prior request.
In keeping with tradition a Sunday roast is available from Midday to
6 p.m., in The Bar, Restaurant or Courtyard. All
dietary requirements can be catered for, and menus can be devised solely to
suit an individuals needs with prior arrangement.
"If your taste is sophisticated, exciting food
and you refuse
to settle for anything less than the finest available, try a little trip to
Off The Beaten Track" Food and Drink Guide.

T his
charming 300 year old coaching inn is, in fact, one of the newest additions
to the Arkell's stable. Not that you'd notice. Everything that's made The
Kings Arms such a popular pub since the 17th century are still obvious
today, namely: ideal location, friendly service, good food, well kept ales
and high quality accommodation. For travellers and
tourists taking in the delights of the Cotswolds, the fact that the
landlords, Viv and Avril, know more than their fair share about the area as
born-and-bred locals is yet another plus.
Currently offering 13 well appointed rooms, all of which are en-suite and
can be easily made into twin or double accommodation, the Kings is also
ideal for families, with 2 larger sized family rooms available.Centrally
located, the Kings is perfectly placed for shoppers looking to take a break
from
Chipping
Norton's
busy high street, or for those planning a drink and a bite to eat before an
evening at the nearby theatre. Bringing The Kings'
bang up-to-date, you will also find 3 plasma screens showing the latest
sporting entertainment, and 2 pool tables.
Lunch served: Noon - 2.30pm every day
Evening meals: 5.00pm - 8.30pm, Mon - Thurs only.
