OPEN DAY AT  THE TOWN HALL
 Saturday (3rd November) saw the Mayor inviting townspeople to come along to the Town Hall and find out just what the Town Council are up to, and to visit stalls set up by over twenty town organisations to hear all about their activities. John Grantham had organised a fascinating exhibition of memorabilia in the Council Chamber - most of it from his own collection. It was an opportunity for everyone to see the newly decorated hall and hopefully to tempt some visitors into thinking about hiring one of the rooms for a club or personal event. We badly need the money! All in all it was a busy, lively day with a steady stream of visitors. Here are just a few of the happy faces!
