The
Oddfellows are 200 year old friendly society with 90,000 members across
the
UK. The Chipping
Norton Branch is a newly established social group providing regular
activities including day trips, evening entertainment, quizzes and fun.
The group meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of every month
at the Lower Town Hall, Market Street.
The Oddfellows also provide: - a dedicated
Citizen’s Advice Bureau phone line; care information and financial
welfare support such as help with legal aid and funeral costs. For the
main part though it is a not-for-profit Society which provides a ready
made social group in a safe environment.
