Broadsword Security Services was formed in 1984 by John Granville, initially as a security guarding company, offering patrols and static guards. Within twelve months of the company starting Broadsword employed its first engineer to install intruder alarm systems. Broadsword Security Services now employ 25 people and provide far more services than originally offered. Broadsword has gradually grown throughout the years and has managed to maintain the high quality in service John Granville gave in the early years. John Granville now has a Partner to share the running of the business, his son Peter who has been with the company since 1996. John and Peter recognise one of the company's biggest assets is their staff, with each employee offering different skills to make Broadsword Security Services the successful company it is today. Your first taste of Broadsword Security Services will probably be from the sales team. They offer a professional service with no high pressure sales routine, just offering sound advice and protection to suit your security needs. Alan Lawton, Sales Manager has served with Thames Valley Police prior to working for Broadsword. He has many years' experience within the Crime Prevention Department and also served as Architect Liaison Officer, advising architects, builders and planners on minimising the risk of crime. We endeavour to keep this high standard of service throughout the life of our working relationship with you. Broadsword Security Services has "Approved Alarm Installer" recognition from the National Approval Council for Security Systems (NACOSS) and has met the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001: 2000. This means Broadsword checks and monitors its systems and procedures continuously.
