Dear Elector,

I am very pleased to be standing as your Conservative candidate for Chipping Norton in the West Oxfordshire District Council elections to be held on Thursday 3rd May. Our Conservative-run District Council is low taxing (second lowest district charge in the country) yet is rated one of the best performing councils with high public satisfaction levels for the services it provides.

Being a successful area, with a buoyant economy, high employment, the lowest levels of crime in the Thames Valley and a very special natural environment, brings other pressures to a rural district like ours.  Facilities such as the hospital, care home and post offices have to be protected to maintain our quality of life.

We need the strong voice which Conservatives bring to the District Council to be able to stand up for what matters to us in Chipping Norton.

Government more and more require local authorities to work with partner organisations and stakeholders in the community for the good of all.

As an experienced businessman and negotiator I believe I am well placed to offer a high level of representation that our town will need in order to get the best deal for our residents.

Please support me with your vote on Polling Day Thursday 3rd May.  I will be there to listen to your views and will not let you down.

Yours sincerely

Mike Tysoe
