TOWN COUNCIL ELECTIONS 2003

  GRAHAM BEACHAM

Age 42, Married with four children. Born in the town, have lived here most of my life. I work at Parker Knoll as a Tapestry Storeperson. I have always stood as an Independent and have been a Town Councillor for 16 years. I have been Town Mayor twice and Deputy Mayor once. I am currently President of Chipping Norton Town Cricket Club and Chairman of Wychwood District Scout Council. I have been involved in two Organisation Days and two Town Appraisals. I have also been involved in the Golden Jubilee and Millennium Celebrations. A Town Council should provide as many facilities as it can, in a sensible budget. The Town needs jobs and low-cost housing without spoiling the Town. We need to keep the services we have in the Town. We also need to keep an eye on planning, a number passed recently have not been what the Town wants. I ask for your support again and I promise to do the utmost for the Town.
